The Driving Loafer, Kept Light

The Owen Driving Loafers run a perforated upper across a low-cut slip-on shape, with a slim tie threaded over the vamp and a contrast lining visible at the opening. Underneath, a pebbled rubber sole wraps up around the heel in the way a proper driving shoe should. The toe is rounded and the whole shoe sits close to the ground. It is a shoe designed around being light on the foot.

With no laces to tie and an opening cut low at the sides, the shoe goes on in one motion and comes off just as fast. The perforations break up the surface so a single tone never looks heavy. The pebbled sole grips without adding bulk and the shoe folds down easily enough to pack as a second pair.
