The Marissa Slide Sandals lay two wide bands across the instep, each finished with a squared metal buckle, over an open toe and a flat sole edged in contrast stitching. There is nothing at the back and nothing to fasten: the buckles are set as hardware rather than adjustment, so you step in and the bands hold. The sole stays low and level. It is a slide with a bit of weight to it rather than a flimsy summer throwaway.
