Ruching From Top to Hem

The Danica Ruched Midi Dress gathers the fabric in fine ruching down one side of the body, drawing the dress close from the bust to the hip and creating a diagonal line through the print. A V-neckline opens the front, flutter sleeves fall from the shoulder, and a slit runs high up one side of a hem that finishes below the knee. A blended sunset print shifts colour along the length. All the shaping is done by gathering.

Close-Fitting, Still Forgiving

Because the ruching absorbs the fabric rather than compressing it, the dress follows the body without gripping, and the gathers move as you do. The side slit keeps the stride free despite the close fit. It packs into very little and the ruching means creasing simply never shows.

How to Wear It

A heeled sandal and a small clutch is the natural pairing for evening. Flat sandals bring it back for a daytime event. Keep jewellery to earrings and let the print and the ruching do everything else.
