The Christopher Trousers take deep pleats either side of the front and run the leg wide and straight to a hem turned back into a cuff. Belt loops sit around a plain waistband.

Volume Held in Two Places

The pleats release width at the top and the turn-up weights the bottom, which is what keeps a wide leg hanging straight rather than flaring. The waistband stays flat between the loops.
