Straps That Cross and Hold

The Brianna Slide Sandals run two straps that cross over the instep and meet a band across the toes, with cut-outs opening the sides and nothing at all at the back. The upper carries a fine woven texture rather than a smooth finish. Underneath, the footbed is gently contoured and the sole stays flat and level from toe to heel. It is a slide with more structure across the foot than most.

Held in Three Places, Fastened in None

Because the straps cross rather than sit parallel, the foot is held at three points across the instep, which is what keeps a backless sandal from slipping as you walk. The contoured footbed stops the foot sliding forward. There is nothing to buckle, so they go on at the door in one movement.
