The Allysia Belted Maxi Shirt Dress runs a full row of buttons from the neckline to the hem, so the front opens as far as you decide, and gathers at the waist under a belt worn at the natural line. Below that the skirt is finely pleated and falls to the ankle with real movement in it. Long sleeves finish at the wrist. Because every button is functional, the dress changes shape depending on how many you leave open.

One Dress, Several Silhouettes

Buttoned to the hem with the belt pulled in, it reads formal and columnar; open from the knee down it becomes something far more relaxed with a long slit. Worn completely open over trousers it works as a duster layer. The pleats keep their fold through washing rather than dropping out.
