The Adelaide Draped Evening Gown sets a sheer embroidered bodice with short sleeves above a plain skirt that gathers at the waist and drapes across the front to the floor. The embroidery covers the bodice and the upper arm, so the sheer panel reads as pattern rather than skin. Below the waist the skirt is completely plain, which is what lets the bodice carry all the detail. The drape falls to one side rather than hanging square.
